- I have five children Justin ( 11), Megan (9), Evan (4), Kaitlyn (22mths) and Raelyn ( Nov. 28, 2000 - July 13 2002). I have been happily married to my husband, Oden, for 12 years. We are each others best friend and confidant, I am so thankful for him. In 2005, our family started on our home school journey and have loved learning together since. I am still so amazed that may cannot see how someone who has a High School diploma can teach grades 4 and 6 ( what does that say about my own traditional school experiance?) I am here to say that if you love your kids, you CAN teach your own children, as long as you are prepared to learn too! I feel that this is what we are called to do, and I am so thankful for the journey! Another important part of me is to note that I am a Christ follower and I desire to make my actions in line with what Christ wants for me and my life. I still stumble often, but my heart is with my maker and his plans for all of our lives. he loves us and has plans for us to prosper, to give us a hope and a future. He IS my all in times of good and bad.
